Over the past couple days I have been mentally preparing for North Side Festival.  With so many bands playing it is kind of overwhelming.

Since NSF has posted most of the set times I have developed a pretty detailed Google Calendar (essentially it is what L Magazine and NSF should have told an intern to do).

The Great Pumpkin’s  schedule and time line for North Side Festival

This schedule has all of the events (and their corresponding times) that I would like to catch if possible.  This does not mean I recommend all of these events , but rather has all the bands that I like,  have read about, and/or have listened to briefly that I think would be worth checking out.

My recommendations will be posted tomorrow and Friday for the upcoming weekend. I just thought this calender might be good to help budget your time.  I know it has helped me.  I will update this as more information comes available, but as of now it is pretty complete.

This weekend will be fueled by music, bikes (if you don’t have one you should get one), iced coffee, and beer…I’m really looking forward to it.  Welcome to North Brooklyn.  Good Times!

UPDATE 6/11/09: Beware of Changing Set Times.  Kurt Vile at 1am on Saturday now!  I’ll update them as I see them…my calendar is pretty up to date, but double check so you don’t miss a band you want to see.
