Jaill (formerly known as Jail) is a band that I discovered back in March, and featured on my regular post This Week In Mail Order, and the band even donated a copy of the album for me to give away on the Great Pumpkin (read all my posts on Jaill here). There’s No Sky (Oh My My) was well received, and now Jaill recently signed to Sup Pop (congrats!). I had been in contact with Vincent from Jaill over the year, and he and the band came up with their top ten favorite albums of the year.

“if some of these are 2008, you can make a denotation that we are stupid, lazy idiots” –Jaill
As far as I’m concerned I don’t care what year things came out…I just wanted to know what people loved this year.
If you haven’t heard There’s No Sky (Oh My My) I highly recommend it, and while were on that topic here is a track from the album:
[mp3] Jaill- “No Mindless Love”
Buy There’s No Sky (Oh My My) directly from Jaill here. This version is a limited vinyl pressing with new stenciled and spray painted cover, each one-of-a-kind color patterns. Get one while you can! And be on the look out for their debut Sup Pop release!
A big Thank You to Jaill for contributing a best of list to the Great Pumpkin!
