the great pumpkin used to be a place where i mused about music, beer, and food but 2012 has brought about a renewed focus bringing these interests together.  our new focus is to find the spot where music, art, and media meets food and drink. musicians talking about beer, and brewers talking about music.

so far we have had interviews, pairings, and guides featured on the great pumpkin by a variety of musicians, artists, and beer makers.

the great pumpkin is also interested in organizing tastings.  if you are from a food, beverage, or alcohol company that would like to donate your products to be tasted by a variety of musicians, farmers, tech start-ups, artists, and the like please get in touch.  all tasting posts will honestly review products while highlighting an area of the arts or social media.  again, please contact us if you are interested in participating.

the great pumpkin is based in greenpoint, brooklyn but does not have a particularly new york centric focus.
